Stream Watch
Join Stream Watch on Sunday, January 11 , 2009 for the next New Hope Creek sampling date, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The group will meet at the Turkey Farm Road bridge (map). All sampling equipment will be provided.
Stream Watch is affiliated with the Division of Water Resources of the North Carolina Department of Environment, Health and Natural Resources (DENR). Volunteers perform water sample tests along New Hope Creek and learn about water quality, indicator species, watersheds and natural resource management.
